Job Description – QA/QC Officers & Executives

About the Role

We are looking for experienced and motivated QA/QC Officers and Executives to join a reputed nutraceutical manufacturing company in Baddi. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, GMP, documentation, and quality systems within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or related manufacturing industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance (QA)

- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packing Records (BPR), SOPs, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Conduct in-process and finished-product quality checks.
- Handle deviations, CAPA, change controls, OOS/OOT investigations, and related documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality systems across production and other departments.
- Monitor compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and manufacturing practices.
- Support product release and maintain complete quality records.

Quality Control (QC)

- Perform sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Maintain laboratory records, specifications, test reports, and COAs.




- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Follow approved testing methods and laboratory SOPs.
- Investigate OOS/OOT results and prepare relevant reports.
- Coordinate with production and QA teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all testing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy, or a relevant field.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of GMP, GLP, SOPs, documentation, and quality management systems.
- Experience in handling audits, deviations, CAPA, change control, and OOS investigations will be preferred.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working in or having previous experience with nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, herbal, food supplement, or allied manufacturing companies will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

₹25,000–₹40,000 per month, based on experience, qualifications, and technical expertise.
