Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving products using CAD tools and validation processes. The role will focus on product performance, reliability, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop new products and components based on customer and market requirements.
- Modify and improve existing products for better performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Create and modify 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for production.
- Conduct product analysis, design validation, and testing.
- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth manufacturing.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction and design-improvement opportunities.
- Ensure products meet required quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement design improvements related to performance, reliability, and ease of manufacturing.
- Maintain engineering documentation, revision control, and engineering change records.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Experience in product design and development.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, fabrication,



and assembly.
- Understanding of HVAC / ventilation systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in product design and development.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Candidates with experience in sheet metal, fabrication, assembly, HVAC, or ventilation products will be preferred.
