Manager – Risk & Controls | India

We are hiring a Manager – Risk & Controls in India to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate organisational risks while strengthening the effectiveness of internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement controls to address identified risks and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal control testing, including scoping, execution, documentation, and reporting.
- Develop and execute control testing plans and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior risk analysts and team members.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–8 years of experience in Controls Management and Controls Self-Assessment.
- Strong knowledge of risk and controls management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.




- Proficiency in risk and controls management software/tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced environment.
- Experience in the Banking & Finance industry is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CRA, CRMP, or equivalent.
- Understanding of at least one of the following:
- Corporate & Institutional Banking, including Financial Markets
- Transaction Banking
- Credit Risk Monitoring
