Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to manage the accounting functions of multiple companies (joint/group accounts). The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, GST compliance, and statutory requirements. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the books of accounts for multiple companies/entities.

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions.

Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.

Process payroll entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts, where applicable.

Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

Ensure timely reconciliation of bank, customer, supplier, and ledger accounts.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.





Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Maintain proper financial records and supporting documentation.

Taxation & Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.

Reconcile GST input and output tax.

Ensure compliance with GST regulations and maintain supporting documentation.

Coordinate with tax consultants and statutory authorities on GST-related matters.

Assist with other statutory filings and regulatory compliance, as applicable.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Experience handling accounts for multiple companies or group entities is preferred.

Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Hands-on experience with GST preparation and filing.

Proficiency in Zoho Books software and Tally.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Experience with bank reconciliations, financial analysis, and MIS reporting.
