We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Storyboard Artist to join our academic content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in visual storytelling, education and creative content development, with the ability to translate educational concepts and written scripts into clear, engaging and visually effective storyboards.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy drawing, visualising scenes, developing characters and planning visual sequences for educational content.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop storyboards for educational books, learning resources and visual content.
- Translate scripts, concepts and written content into engaging visual sequences.
- Visualise characters, environments, actions, expressions and scene compositions.
- Create rough sketches and frame-by-frame visual representations.
- Plan camera angles, transitions, scene flow and visual continuity where required.
- Work closely with editors, content developers, illustrators and designers.
- Understand educational concepts and represent them in an age-appropriate and visually engaging manner.
- Suggest creative visual approaches for explaining concepts and stories.
- Revise storyboards based on editorial and creative feedback.
- Maintain consistency in characters, settings, proportions and visual style across scenes.
- Prepare clean and organised storyboard files for further illustration/animation production.

Eligibility

Preferred qualifications:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Illustration, Multimedia or related fields.
- Candidates from B.Ed., M.Ed. or Education backgrounds with strong drawing/storyboarding skills may also apply.

Experience

0–3 years of relevant experience.

Freshers with strong drawing, visual storytelling skills and a good portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with experience in storyboarding, children's content, educational content, animation, comics, illustration or visual development will be preferred.

We are looking for someone who can think visually and tell a story through frames.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a written educational concept and think:

“What should the learner see?”

They should be comfortable developing characters, scenes, expressions and sequences that make educational content transparent, engaging and memorable for children and learners.

A portfolio showcasing storyboards, character sketches, illustrations, comics, animation work or sequential visual storytelling is highly preferred.
