Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Record day-to-day transactions in the accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, receipts, invoices, and journal entries.
- Verify supporting documents before entering transactions.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records.
- Assist in maintaining daily cash records.
- Verify cash collections and deposit details.
- Assist with bank reconciliation.
- Maintain petty cash records and supporting vouchers.
- Assist the billing team with verification of billing-related documents.
- Record patient, corporate, insurance, and TPA collections as applicable.
- Monitor outstanding balances and assist in follow-up for pending payments.
- Reconcile daily collection reports with accounts records.
- Enter purchase invoices and supplier bills.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor ledger records.
- Assist in preparing vendor payment documentation.
- Assist in reconciliation of bank, cash, vendor, customer, and other ledger accounts.
- Identify discrepancies and report them to the Accounts Manager.
- Follow up with concerned departments for necessary corrections.
- Assist in maintaining GST-related invoices and records.
- Support preparation of documents required for statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper records for audit and tax-related requirements.
- Assist in salary-related accounting entries.
- Process employee reimbursement and advance records.
- Coordinate with HR for salary deductions, recoveries, and other payroll-related information.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Prepare basic Excel reports for revenue, expenses, collections, and outstanding payments.




- Provide required financial information to senior accounts staff.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documents.
- Maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other financial records systematically.
- Ensure documents are readily available for verification.
- Coordinate with Billing, Pharmacy, Stores, Purchase, HR, Insurance/TPA, and Operations departments.
- Verify departmental collection and expense reports.
- Ensure timely submission of financial documents to the Accounts Department.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and accounting procedures.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn hospital accounting procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance or equivalent.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in accounts; hospital/healthcare experience preferred.
- Freshers with positive accounting knowledge and computer skills may be considered.

- Accuracy of accounting entries.
- Timely completion of assigned accounting work.
- Accuracy of cash and bank reconciliation.
- Timely processing of invoices and vouchers.
- Proper maintenance of financial documents.
- Timely submission of reports.
- Compliance with hospital accounting procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
