Yoga Teacher

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a qualified and dedicated Yoga Teacher to help students develop physical fitness, flexibility, concentration, discipline, emotional balance, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular yoga classes for students across different age groups.
- Teach age-appropriate yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques.
- Plan structured yoga sessions according to students' physical abilities.
- Improve students' flexibility, strength, balance, posture, and concentration.
- Promote discipline, mindfulness, stress management, and positive habits.
- Demonstrate correct techniques and ensure students practise safely.
- Monitor students and provide individual guidance where required.
- Organize yoga demonstrations, competitions, workshops, and special programmes.
- Support school-level wellness and physical fitness initiatives.
- Maintain attendance and basic student participation records.
- Coordinate with Physical Education teachers and school management.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development programmes.

Eligibility

- Diploma / Certificate in Yoga / B.P.Ed.



with Yoga specialization / M.P.Ed. with Yoga specialization
- Recognized Yoga Teacher Training certification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Positive knowledge of yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, and basic anatomy.
- Ability to teach children in an engaging, patient, and disciplined manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience conducting yoga programmes or competitions will be an advantage.
