SAP RISE Functional Consultant - Sales & Distribution (SD) Pune · Full Time · Remote

About the Role Analyze end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes and recommend optimizations aligned with SAP S/4HANA SD best practices. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, supporting integrations across SAP solutions, and providing post-go-live functional support. Success in this role means delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and align with SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes and recommend optimizations aligned with SAP S/4HANA SD best practices
- Gather, validate, and translate business requirements across sales order management, pricing, availability, billing, and customer interactions
- Configure SAP S/4HANA SD in a RISE Private Cloud workplace, including order management, pricing, billing, FI integration, and Output-relevant SD processes
- Design and implement Advanced ATP (aATP) capabilities such as product allocation, backorder processing, alternative-based confirmations, and Supply protection and confirmation strategies
- Support integrations across SAP SD, FI, EWM, TM, SAP CRM, and SAP CX solutions
- Perform fit-gap analysis and prepare functional design documentation aligned with SAP Activate methodology
- Collaborate with technical teams on RICEFW requirements, testing, and defect resolution
- Execute unit testing and support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hyper care activities
- Provide post-go-live L2/L3 functional support, including incident analysis and continuous improvement




- Support end-user training, release management, and change control processes
- Maintain accurate configuration, functional design, and process documentation in alignment with ITIL standards
- Collaborate with COE, PMO, and technical teams to support project planning, execution, and governance
- Monitor SAP S/4HANA, SD, aATP, and CX roadmaps and release notes to recommend functional enhancements
- Ensure compliance with security, data integrity, pricing controls, and audit requirements

Requirements

- Have experience in SAP S/4HANA SD and Advanced ATP (aATP)
- Have knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes and SAP best practices
- Have experience in configuring SAP S/4HANA SD in a RISE Private Cloud environment
- Have experience in supporting integrations across SAP solutions
- Have experience in performing fit-gap analysis and preparing functional design documentation
- Have experience in collaborating with technical teams on RICEFW requirements, testing, and defect resolution
- Have experience in providing post-go-live functional support
- Have knowledge of ITIL standards and experience in maintaining accurate configuration and process documentation
