Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is completed as per drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and timelines. The role involves coordinating with contractors, workers, engineers, and management.

Key Responsibilities

Site Operations

- Supervise daily construction activities at the site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor progress and report delays or issues to the Project Manager

Labour & Contractor Management

- Manage site workers, masons, helpers, and subcontractors
- Allocate work and ensure proper manpower utilization
- Verify attendance and productivity of workers

Quality Control

- Ensure construction quality meets company standards
- Check materials used at site for quality and quantity
- Report defects and ensure corrective actions

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all safety procedures are followed at site
- Enforce use of PPE (helmets, safety shoes, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free site workplace

Material & Inventory

- Coordinate material receipt and storage at site
- Track material consumption and reduce wastage




- Report material requirements to management

Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with:
- Engineers
- Architects
- Vendors
- Management
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports (DPR), and photographs
- Support inspections and handover activities

Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in real estate or construction projects
- Experience in residential / commercial projects is an advantage

Skills Required

- Good knowledge of construction methods & materials
- Ability to read basic drawings
- Leadership and team handling skills
- Basic knowledge of safety norms
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to work at site locations

Working Conditions

- Full-time, site-based role
- May require extended working hours based on project needs
