Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, repaire, and Maintaince mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in equipment and systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and lifting equipment safely.
- Replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, seals, shafts, gears, and belts.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ITI, Diploma, or trade certification in Mechanical Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, or industrial machinery.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments and workshop tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Working Conditions

- Work in manufacturing plants, construction sites, workshops, or industrial facilities.
- May require shift work, overtime, and occasional weekend work.
- Involves lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces or at heights when required.
