Job Title: Subject Teacher – English / Hindi / Social Science

Reporting To: Principal / Vice Principal / Head of Department / Academic Coordinator

The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective, engaging, and student-centred lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic policies. The teacher will support students in achieving academic excellence while developing their communication, critical-thinking, creativity, problem-solving, social, and life skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons based on the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and teaching-learning resources.
- Use activity-based, experiential, competency-based, and technology-enabled teaching methods.
- Create a positive, inclusive, protected, and engaging classroom environment.
- Develop students' subject knowledge, communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning abilities.
- Conduct assessments, tests, assignments, projects, and examinations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, academic progress, and student performance.
- Analyse student performance and provide remedial and enrichment support.
- Encourage participation in discussions, presentations, debates, projects, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Monitor students' academic, behavioural,



and overall development.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote respect, responsibility, and positive values.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress and learning needs.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, workshops, training, and professional-development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues in academic planning and school activities.
- Participate in assemblies, celebrations, exhibitions, clubs, competitions, field trips, and other school programmes.
- Follow CBSE guidelines and all school policies relating to academics, assessment, discipline, child safety, and student welfare.
- Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.
- Continuously update subject knowledge and adopt effective and innovative teaching practices.
- Perform any other academic responsibilities assigned by the Principal or School Management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant subject.
- Good subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Strong classroom-management and student-engagement skills.
- Creativity, patience, teamwork, adaptability, and a student-centred approach.
- Prior experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
