Job Summary

The Production Head will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing operations of the AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) Blocks plant, including batching, mixing, casting, cutting, autoclaving, and finished goods handling. The role is focused on achieving production targets with consistent quality, optimum plant efficiency, minimum wastage, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly AAC block production schedules.
- Ensure smooth operation of batching plant, slurry preparation, mould handling, cutting section, autoclaves, and packing area.
- Maintain target production volume and optimize autoclave cycle utilization.
- Monitor raw material consumption such as fly ash, cement, lime, gypsum, aluminum powder, and water.
- Control block density, compressive strength, moisture, dimensions, and overall product quality as per plant standards.
- Minimize breakage, cutting losses, autoclave losses, and rejection percentage.
- Coordinate with Quality Control for testing and corrective actions.
- Supervise production supervisors, operators, autoclave operators, and plant workers.
- Ensure preventive maintenance coordination for mixers, moulds, cutting machines, cranes, boilers, compressors, and autoclaves.
- Monitor steam pressure, temperature, and curing parameters during autoclaving.




- Implement SOPs, process controls, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures related to boilers, steam systems, pressure vessels, lifting equipment, and plant operations.
- Maintain production MIS, shift reports, downtime reports, and consumption records.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments for uninterrupted operations.
- Support capacity enhancement, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AAC block manufacturing process.
- Understanding of autoclave operation, steam curing, and density control.
- Production planning and process optimization skills.
- Leadership and manpower handling capability.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of safety practices in steam and pressure equipment operations.
- Valuable reporting skills and proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems.

- 8–15 years in AAC blocks manufacturing.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
