About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to join our Bangalore team. The role involves sales, business development, client engagement and initial counselling for doctors, medical students and parents exploring international medical education and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and qualify leads generated through GooCampus's marketing, website, events, referrals and other channels.
- Speak with doctors, students and parents to understand their career goals and requirements.
- Explain GooCampus services and provide initial information about relevant pathways.
- Coordinate detailed counselling sessions with senior counsellors and mentors.
- Follow up with prospects and work towards successful conversions.
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors, students, consultants and institutions.
- Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities.




- Support seminars, webinars, meetings and other business-development activities.
- Maintain accurate lead information, follow-ups and sales activity in the CRM.
- Use AI tools, CRM platforms and digital tools to improve productivity and sales effectiveness.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or MBA.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, education consulting, healthcare or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in English.
- Hindi and regional-language skills will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills.
- Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable working with targets.
- Good computer and CRM skills.
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other digital platforms.
