About the Role

We are looking for a creative Video Editor & Graphic Designer who can create engaging reels, social media creatives, and marketing content that captures attention and drives engagement.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in short-form video editing, graphic design, and social media content creation.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, podcasts, and promotional videos
- Create high-quality videos with captions, transitions, effects, and motion graphics
- Design social media posts, carousels, brochures, banners, posters, and marketing materials
- Create thumbnails and visual assets for digital campaigns
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative content
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute content strategies
- Edit 12-15 high-retention vertical reels per week: student testimonials, university spotlights, visa explainers, event recaps, and study-abroad journey stories
- Craft a compelling hook in the first 3 seconds of every reel — always
- Sync captions, trending audio, and on-screen text elements with precision
- Podcast editing and be able to add basic animations, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects
- Produce brand content including product showcases, campaign videos, and promotional cuts
- Shoot and edit in-office footage as needed (b-roll, interviews, event coverage)

Graphic Design & Brand Creative

- Design Instagram carousels, ad creatives, infographics, event posters, brochures, pitch decks, and story templates
- Build and maintain a reusable template library for the content team
- Apply the UniRely brand kit (typography, colours, logo usage, tone)

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in Video Editing and Graphic Design
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Illustrator, After Effects, CorelDRAW, or similar tools
- Experience creating Reels, Shorts, and social media content
- Strong understanding of typography, layouts, and visual storytelling
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong command of short-form vertical video editing: pacing, hooks, audio sync, captions
- Solid graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, colour, hierarchy
- Experience editing both study-abroad / education content AND brand / product content
- Ability to work at high volume (8–12 reels + 15–20 design assets per week) without sacrificing quality
- Hands-on experience following and building to a brand kit
- Good eye for trends — you already watch a lot of Reels and Shorts, and it shows in your work

Preferred

- Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animated captions
- Premier Pro Illustrator, After effect, Corel draw
- CapCut for fast, trend-led reactive content
- DaVinci Resolve for advanced colour grading
- Working knowledge of AI creative tools (auto-captioning, gen-fill, upscaling)
- Basic camera and shooting skills for in-office content capture
