Agonda Palm Beach Resort is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and take charge of the culinary operations of our boutique beach resort in Agonda, South Goa.

We are looking for someone who is not only a good chef, but someone who can take ownership of the kitchen, develop menus, build a team and maintain consistently high food quality.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the complete kitchen operation, including:

- Developing and refining the restaurant menu
- Creating dishes across Goan, Indian and international cuisines
- Menu planning, food costing and portion control
- Recruiting, training and managing the kitchen team
- Setting kitchen standards and systems
- Maintaining hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards
- Managing food purchasing, stock and wastage
- Working closely with the restaurant and management team
- Leading the kitchen during busy service periods
- Supporting the pre-opening and setup of the kitchen
- Ensuring consistency, presentation and quality of every dish

What We Are Looking For

- Previous experience as a Head Chef / Executive Chef / Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine
- Strong experience in hotel, resort, restaurant or boutique hospitality
- Positive knowledge of Indian, Goan and international cuisine




- Experience in menu development and kitchen costing
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Good understanding of kitchen purchasing, inventory and wastage control
- Bakery experience will be an added advantage
- Someone creative, hands-on and passionate about food
- Candidates with pre-opening experience will be preferred
