Speech Therapist Location: The Behaviour Junction, Jalandhar Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In-person About the Role The Behaviour Junction is looking for a qualified and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The therapist will work with children with speech, language, communication, and related developmental difficulties. The role involves providing individualized, child-friendly intervention to improve communication, speech, language, social communication, and functional communication skills. Key Responsibilities * Conduct speech and language assessments to identify individual communication needs. * Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans. * Work on speech clarity, articulation, receptive and expressive language, vocabulary, sentence formation, and functional communication. * Support children with social communication and pragmatic language difficulties. * Work on appropriate communication methods, including visual supports and AAC where required. * Use play-based and activity-based techniques to engage children during therapy. * Monitor and document each child’s progress and maintain accurate session records. * Provide parents/caregivers with appropriate home-based activities and communication strategies. * Collaborate with psychologists, behaviour therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and special educators.



* Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and parent meetings when required. * Maintain a safe, supportive, and child-friendly therapy environment. Requirements * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. * Valid professional registration/certification as applicable. * Experience working with children with autism, developmental delays, speech and language difficulties, or other developmental needs will be an advantage. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, creativity, and a child-centred approach. * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Skills * Pediatric speech and language therapy experience. * Knowledge of developmental communication milestones. * Experience with autism and neurodevelopmental conditions. * Knowledge of AAC and visual communication supports will be an advantage. * Good clinical documentation and progress-monitoring skills.
