Power BI Developer

Location: India

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 5-7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Data Modeling, Power Query, SQL, and Azure data services such as ADF, Synapse, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Create and optimize complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.




- Design and maintain efficient data models using best practices.
- Perform data transformation and preparation using Power Query (M Language).
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics requirements.
- Build and support data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure Databricks for data processing and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and report governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data-related issues.

Must-Have Skills

- 5-7 years of overall experience in BI and reporting.
- Robust hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Expertise in DAX and advanced report development.
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Power Query (M Language).
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure Databricks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

- Experience working in enterprise-scale analytics environments.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI architecture.
- Microsoft Power BI or Azure certifications.
