Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Assistant Professor of English to deliver engaging lectures, mentor students, prepare academic materials, conduct assessments, and contribute to departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lectures in English Literature, Language, and Communication Skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and presentations.
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance.
- Mentor students and support their academic development.
- Develop students’ communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Organize tutorials, workshops, seminars, and academic activities.
- Maintain student attendance and academic records.
- Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum planning.
- Contribute to research, publications, and institutional activities.
- Collaborate with faculty and management for effective academic delivery.




- Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to students.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Master's Degree in English / English Literature or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- UGC NET/SET qualification will be preferred/required as per applicable norms.
- Ph.D. or research experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong command of English language, literature, grammar, and communication skills.
- Previous teaching experience at college/university level is preferred.
- Positive presentation, interpersonal, classroom management, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools, MS Office, presentations, and online learning platforms.
