Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the editing of high-quality reels, short-form videos, ad films, and social media creatives across platforms.
- Translating creative briefs and concepts into engaging, visually compelling stories.
- Taking ownership of the complete video editing process, from raw footage to final delivery.
- Creating advanced motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound design and visual effects.
- Collaborating closely with the content, creative, and social media teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Contributing to video ideation, storytelling, shot planning, and creative direction.
- Staying ahead of emerging social media trends, editing styles, formats, and platform algorithms.
- Managing and organising raw footage, project files, assets, and editing workflows efficiently.
- Optimising content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, paid ads, and other digital platforms.
- Ensuring quick turnarounds while maintaining a high standard of creative quality.
- Handling colour correction, audio balancing, visual enhancement, and overall post-production.




- Reviewing and refining edits based on client and internal feedback.
- Mentoring or guiding junior editors when required and maintaining quality standards across projects.

Who We’re Looking For

Besides someone who can edit a fire reel, we’re looking for someone who:

- Has 1–2+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media, or digital-first environment.
- Has a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, visual aesthetics, and audience retention.
- Is highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with CapCut or other editing tools is a plus.
- Has a strong understanding of hooks, retention, transitions, motion graphics, and social-first content.
- Can independently take a project from brief to final output.
- Has experience with AI video generation and AI-powered creative tools.
- Can handle multiple projects and tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Takes feedback positively and can iterate quickly.
- Is proactive, detail-oriented, creative, and capable of taking ownership.
- Keeps up with the latest trends in social media content, editing, and visual storytelling.
