We are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake / Bending Machine Operator with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in operating CNC press brake machines.

Our machine is a 320-ton, 4-meter CNC press brake, capable of bending plates up to approximately 16 mm thickness. The ideal candidate must have strong practical knowledge of heavy-duty sheet metal bending and should be able to independently determine the correct tooling, machine setup, and bending parameters for each job.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and set up the 320-ton, 4-meter CNC Press Brake / Bending Machine.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, bending drawings, and dimensions.
- Determine the appropriate punch and die/tooling required for each bending job based on material type, thickness, bend angle, and bend length.
- Calculate and set appropriate V-die opening, punch selection, and bending parameters.
- Set the machine and accurately position the workpiece before bending.
- Set and adjust bend angles and angle correction/compensation to achieve the required dimensions.
- Measure finished bends using appropriate measuring instruments and make necessary machine corrections.
- Understand bend allowance, bend deduction, springback, and material behavior.
- Check whether a particular job can be safely and practically performed on the available machine based on:
- Material thickness
- Material type
- Bend length
- Required angle
- Tooling availability
- Required tonnage
- Machine capacity
- Identify potential bending problems before starting production and communicate them to the supervisor/programmer.
- Ensure proper sequence of bends to avoid collisions and interference with the machine, tooling, or workpiece.




- Produce accurate components according to drawing specifications and required tolerances.
- Inspect the first-off component and make necessary corrections before continuing production.
- Maintain proper machine setup, tooling, and workplace cleanliness.
- Follow all machine operating and workplace safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the CAD/programming and production teams for drawing or bending-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a CNC Press Brake / Bending Machine Operator.
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC press brake machines.
- Experience with heavy plate bending is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of selecting the correct punch and die for different jobs.
- Ability to understand machine capacity and determine whether a job can be performed safely.
- Good knowledge of tonnage requirements and V-die selection.
- Ability to set and correct bend angles accurately.
- Understanding of springback, bend allowance, and bend deduction.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
- Good dimensional measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot bending and dimensional issues.
- Strong attention to accuracy and quality.

Key Requirement

The operator must be capable of independently deciding how a job should be bent, selecting the correct punch and die, setting the machine, correcting the bend angle, and determining whether the required job is within the machine's bending capacity.

Experience with 320-ton / 4-meter press brakes and bending plates up to 16 mm will be highly preferred.
