Job Description – Civil Site Engineer

Position: Civil Site Engineer
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
Experience: 2–5 Years
Department: Civil / Projects
Job Location: Site-based

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labour teams, vendors, and project management.
- Check quality of civil works including RCC, concrete, brickwork, plastering, flooring, foundations, structural works, etc.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Monitor manpower, material, and equipment requirements at the site.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the planning and project teams to achieve work targets within the required timeline.
- Verify measurements and assist in preparation of quantity and work measurement sheets.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with seniors for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and site procedures.
- Monitor contractor work and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.




- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper documentation.
- Support project completion and handover activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage site manpower and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and site management skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites.

Eligibility

- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant site execution experience.
- Candidates with industrial, commercial, infrastructure, or building construction experience will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
