Modular Carpenter – Main Carpenter

About the Role

We are an interior manufacturing company supporting residential interior projects. Our factory manufactures modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, crockery units, storage units and other residential furniture.

We are looking for experienced Modular Carpenters who can independently handle modular furniture assembly and production work.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently assemble and manufacture modular furniture.
- Work on modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units and storage units.
- Read and understand basic furniture drawings and dimensions.
- Perform cabinet assembly accurately.
- Carry out Minifix fitting and assembly.
- Work with dowels, screws, hinges, channels and other furniture hardware.
- Check alignment, squareness, levels and dimensions.
- Perform drilling, fitting and basic carpentry work.
- Ensure proper edge and surface protection during assembly.
- Identify manufacturing issues and inform the Floor In-Charge.




- Work with semi-skilled carpenters and helpers and guide them where required.
- Maintain quality and productivity targets.
- Keep the work area clean and organised.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in modular furniture manufacturing.
- Good practical knowledge of Minifix system.
- Experience with modular kitchen and wardrobe production is preferred.
- Good knowledge of furniture hardware and fittings.
- Ability to use drilling machines and hand tools.
- Ability to understand drawings and measurements.
- Good finishing and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proper modular carpenter, not a general construction carpenter.

Experience in factory-based modular furniture production will be strongly preferred.

Compensation

₹25,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on skill and experience.

For an exceptional carpenter who can independently handle complete modular furniture assembly, a higher salary can be considered.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
