As an Engineering Manager at Amagi, you will play a crucial role in leading the efforts to build and enhance our billing platform and related process automation solutions. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading the core Engineering activities in an Agile model- Participating in overall design and development discussions- Collaborating closely with the Product Management team to establish product and engineering roadmaps- Providing architectural and technical guidance to the team and ensuring adherence to sound engineering practices- Demonstrating accountability towards intended business outcomes by collaborating with product management and other functional teams- Leading the implementation of billing, account receivables, and account payables automation and workflowsTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- 10 years of overall software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience with at least 6 years of experience managing cloud application/platform engineering teams- Hands-on experience with at least one of the cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP- Experience in developing usage/subscription-based billing for SaaS products- Exposure to designing and developing microservices optimized for scalability and speed- Experience in developing horizontally scalable distributed systems and streaming data pipelines- Hands-on experience in implementing highly available, low latency, and robust cloud services- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL technologies- Knowledge of finance processes- Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented analysis, data structures, and algorithms- Familiarity with Salesforce sales and revenue cloud knowledge- Experience in NetSuite, Salesforce, Freshdesk integration- Working experience with any of the enterprise cloud platforms or applicationsJoin Amagi and be a part of our growth journey as we continue to innovate and transform the media consumption landscape.
