Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for driving revenue growth and brand presence across assigned channels and territories. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, managing and inspiring the sales team, and setting and tracking sales targets. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, and key accounts, conducting regular market visits, and gathering market intelligence on competitors and customer preferences.



The Sales Manager will prepare sales forecasts and reports, coordinate with marketing for promotions and campaigns, and ensure effective in-store visibility and product placement. This role also requires close collaboration with operations and supply chain to maintain optimal inventory levels and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales management, business development, or key account management, preferably in FMCG, skincare, petcare, or wellness products.
Strong skills in sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management, with the ability to analyze data and convert insights into action.
Experience leading and coaching sales teams, including performance management, training, and field support.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with retailers, distributors, and other channel partners.
