Role Description The Import Sales Manager is responsible for driving import-related business growth by identifying recent clients, nurturing existing accounts, and promoting Chakiat’s customs broking, freight forwarding, and related logistics services. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and meeting potential customers, preparing and presenting proposals and quotations, negotiating commercial terms,



and coordinating with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The role involves tracking market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and achieve revenue and margin targets. The Import Sales Manager will also prepare regular sales reports, maintain an organized pipeline, and participate in client visits, reviews, and follow-ups. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of import processes, international trade regulations, and documentation requirements.
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs broking, or related shipping and supply chain services.
Proven track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, relationship management, and negotiation.
Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and work toward defined revenue targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
