Assistant Manager – Stores | Fabrication / Heavy Manufacturing
Experience: 8–16years in Stores/Materials Management, preferably in fabrication or heavy manufacturing.

Stores & Inventory Management – Manage inward, storage, issue, and movement of raw materials, consumables, fabricated components, and finished goods with proper inventory control.

Robust hands-on knowledge of SAP MM/Stores transactions, including material receipts, stock transfers, reservations, material issues, and inventory reporting.

Fabrication Industry Knowledge – Experience handling materials such as MS/SS plates, structural sections, welding consumables, fasteners, gases, and fabrication-related components, with knowledge of material identification and traceability.

Inventory Control & Coordination – Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts/periodic physical verification, minimize excess/obsolete inventory, and coordinate with Purchase, Production, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams.

Team & Compliance Management – Lead the Stores team, ensure proper documentation and FIFO practices, maintain 5S and safety standards, and ensure timely material availability for production.
