Role Description This is a full time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based in Silchar. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, handle and prepare specimens, and operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.



The role includes adhering to strict quality control protocols, documenting test results accurately, and assisting in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the lab. The technician will collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and support continuous improvement of laboratory processes. The position may also involve participation in internal audits, inventory management of reagents and supplies, and training support for new team members.
Qualifications

Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic instruments.
Strong laboratory skills and competency in specimen handling, test execution, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Experience in quality control, including calibration, control runs, and documentation to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
