Role Description The Chef at Frappe & Yap is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating desserts and café-style dishes to established quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, requiring daily coordination with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service. Typical tasks include managing food prep, monitoring ingredient stock, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. The Chef will assist in menu development, experiment with recent recipes,



and adapt offerings based on customer feedback and seasonal availability. The role also involves collaborating with front-of-house staff to support an efficient service flow and a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
Strong dessert and bakery skills, including preparation, baking, and plating of cakes, pastries, and café-style sweets.
Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations, such as food prep, portioning, and station management.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage practices in a professional kitchen.
Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple orders, and work efficiently during peak hours.
Creative approach to recipe development, flavor pairing, and presentation, with attention to detail and consistency.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work smoothly with kitchen and service staff.
