Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and take complete ownership of the HR function across Cancer Healer Center.

The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with proven expertise in managing the complete employee lifecycle, HR operations, recruitment, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance, employee relations, learning & development, and organizational culture.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring the individual to build strong HR systems, manage the HR team, support business leadership, and ensure consistent HR practices across a growing multi-location organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete HR Leadership

- Take end-to-end ownership of the entire Human Resources function.
- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with organizational growth plans.
- Lead and manage the HR, Recruitment, Operations and L&D; teams.
- Establish HR policies, SOPs, governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Partner closely with senior management and business leadership.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Manage recruitment across corporate, clinical, operations, sales, call centre and support functions.
- Develop manpower planning and hiring strategies based on business requirements.
- Monitor recruitment TAT, cost-per-hire, offer-to-joining ratio and position closures.
- Build leadership and succession pipelines for critical positions.
- Strengthen employer branding and talent acquisition channels.

3. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

- Ensure seamless onboarding, documentation, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRMS and personnel documentation.
- Standardize HR processes across all locations.
- Ensure timely issuance of offer letters, appointment letters,



increment letters and other HR documentation.

4. Performance Management

- Design and manage KRAs, KPIs and performance appraisal systems.
- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Work with department heads to identify performance gaps and improvement plans.
- Establish a performance-driven and accountable organizational culture.

5. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits

- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll inputs and salary processing coordination.
- Develop competitive compensation structures, incentives and employee benefit programs.
- Manage annual increments, promotions and compensation benchmarking.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timely closure.

6. Employee Relations & Engagement

- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace concerns.
- Improve employee engagement, communication and retention.
- Conduct employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
- Monitor attrition and develop department-wise retention strategies.
- Build a professional, ethical and performance-oriented workplace culture.

7. Compliance & HR Governance

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Oversee PF, ESIC, POSH, gratuity, statutory documentation and related HR compliance.
- Maintain HR audit readiness across locations.
- Manage disciplinary proceedings, warning letters, termination processes and employee documentation in coordination with management/legal teams.

8. Learning & Development

- Identify organizational and departmental training requirements.
- Develop structured induction and training programs.
- Build leadership development programs for managers and regional teams.




- Track training effectiveness and employee capability development.

9. HR Analytics & Management Reporting

- Establish a centralized HR dashboard covering:
- Headcount and manpower planning
- Open positions and recruitment TAT
- Attendance and absenteeism
- Attrition and retention
- Employee productivity
- Payroll and manpower cost
- Performance ratings
- Training and development
- Employee grievances and disciplinary cases
- Present regular HR MIS and actionable insights to management.

Candidate Requirements

- 10+ years of overall Human Resources experience, preferably with significant experience in a leadership role.
- Proven experience handling end-to-end HR responsibilities independently.
- Experience managing HR across multiple locations and a sizeable workforce will be strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, HR operations, payroll, compliance, PMS, employee relations and L&D.;
- Experience managing and developing an HR team.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory HR requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-growing, high-accountability environment.
- Strong command over HRMS, MIS, dashboards and HR analytics.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in hospitals, healthcare organizations, diagnostics, pharmaceutical companies, multi-location retail/service organizations or other large workforce-driven businesses will be preferred.
