Role Description This is a full time, in office Debt Collector role based in New Delhi. The Debt Collector will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding payments, explaining account status, and negotiating repayment plans in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role includes maintaining accurate records of interactions, updating account information in internal systems, and coordinating cash collections and deposits.



The Debt Collector will also work closely with the finance and collections teams to resolve discrepancies, escalate complex cases, and ensure timely recovery of dues while maintaining professional and respectful communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with experience handling overdue accounts and recovery processes.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, negotiation, and customer handling abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Computer Literacy skills, including working with spreadsheets, collection software, and basic data entry.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance, particularly in banking, loans, and repayment structures.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in banking or NBFC collections, familiarity with regulatory and compliance norms, ability to work in a target-driven environment, strong attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred.
