Job Responsibilities / Deliverables

This role is accountable for the SAP FICO module end-to-end across all group company operations. It covers configuration and support across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and COPA, along with finance process automation and integration with third-party finance tools. The position works closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams, and independently manages statutory compliance requirements as they translate into SAP FICO configuration across all group entities

- SAP FICO Ownership - Own configuration, enhancement, and support of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost and Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Material Ledger
- Implementation & Change Delivery - Lead SAP FICO enhancement projects; gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions; configure modules and coordinate Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Go-Live activities.
- Compliance & Statutory Reporting - Ensure SAP FICO configuration supports GST, TDS, statutory accounting requirements, internal controls,



and audit standards across all group company operations.
- System Integration – Ensure integration between SAP and third-party finance applications using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality to optimize business processes; drive continuous process improvement and finance digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites

- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline; background in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or IT is preferred
- Certification: SAP FICO certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting / Management Accounting) preferred
- Experience: 5-7 years of SAP FICO experience, including at least 1 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations or major upgrades
- Domain Exposure: Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated/validated (GxP) environments preferred
- Technical Knowledge: Solid hands-on configuration experience across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and COPA
- Integration Exposure: Experience integrating SAP FICO with AP/AR automation platforms, and familiarity with API/IDoc/RFC/BAPI-based integrations

- As we scale operations across group entities, this role is needed to consolidate SAP FICO ownership under a single accountable functional owner rather than fragmented, ad-hoc support.
- Required to strengthen financial controls, audit readiness, and statutory compliance across all group company operations.
- Critical to support ongoing and upcoming finance transformation initiatives, including process automation, system upgrades, and integration with third-party finance tools.
