Position: Farm Manager – Live Bird Broiler Farm (EC Shed Operations)
Location: Melkaratipatti (Behind Hatsun), Kolumamkondan
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline
Experience: 8–15 years in commercial broiler farming with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing Setting Controlled (EC) sheds
Salary: Upto 65000
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of broiler farms and Environment Controlled (EC) sheds.
* Ensure optimum bird health, growth performance, feed efficiency, and flock productivity.
* Monitor flock performance from chick placement to harvesting.
* Achieve production targets including FCR, ABW, Livability, EPEF, Mortality, and Uniformity.




* Operate and monitor EC shed systems including ventilation, cooling pads, exhaust fans, heaters, foggers, and automation controls.
* Maintain optimal temperature, humidity, air quality, and ventilation for bird comfort.
* Implement strict biosecurity protocols and coordinate vaccination and disease prevention programs.
* Monitor bird health and work closely with veterinary teams to minimize mortality.
* Supervise farm supervisors, technicians, and workers while ensuring efficient manpower utilization.
