Role Description As a Commi Chef at World On A Plate, you will work full time on-site in Bengaluru, supporting the kitchen team in daily food preparation and cooking. You will assist in preparing ingredients, executing basic cooking tasks, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards. The role includes maintaining high hygiene and safety practices, ensuring kitchen workstations are clean, organized,



and compliant with food safety regulations. You will collaborate closely with senior chefs, follow instructions for menu execution, and help with stock rotation, basic inventory checks, and mise en place. The Commi Chef will also contribute to an efficient, respectful kitchen environment and be open to learning new culinary techniques and styles.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Food Preparation and basic Culinary Skills.
Candidates should possess practical Cooking skills and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
Candidates should possess thorough knowledge of Hygiene and food safety standards in a skilled kitchen.
Candidates should possess clear and respectful Communication skills to work effectively within a kitchen team.
Relevant culinary education or certification from a recognized institute is beneficial.
