Job Description:
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of organic synthesis, dye chemistry, and industrial chemical processes.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in UV-Vis spectrophotometry, pH meters, titration and color matching techniques.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of ERP systems, laboratory data management and process automation tools is a plus.
- Oversee and manage the preparation and production of chemical batches for basic dyes such as Methyl Violet, Malachite Green and Diamond Green.
- Ensure accurate weighing and mixing of raw materials as per the defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor the reaction conditions (temperature, pH, pressure, and reaction time) to ensure product quality is maintained.
- Conduct process optimization to enhance yield and reduce production costs.
- Conduct sample analysis and sample matching at different stages of production to ensure batch consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain batch records,



process deviations and report any non-conformance to the concerned department.
- Operate and monitor chemical reactors, boiler and cooling tower used in dye manufacturing.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory and production equipment.
- Identify potential process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for increased efficiency.
- Assist in pilot-scale trials and transition to large-scale production.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch sheets and lab reports.
- Prepare and submit daily production logs, yield reports and process deviations.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and presenting findings to the management team.
- Work closely with the production, quality control and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
