About the Role
As a QA Engineer II at Swiss Re's L&H; Solutions, you'll be at the heart of delivering high-quality, cloud-native SaaS/PaaS solutions to Life & Health insurance clients across the globe. This is not just a testing role — it's an opportunity to shape quality engineering practices, drive automation innovation, and collaborate with a talented, multidisciplinary team that is transforming the insurance industry. You'll work across front-end and back-end environments, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure our products are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using UFT,
ensuring comprehensive test coverage across application releases

Analyze and debug Java/J2EE issues, applying deep technical understanding to identify root causes and drive resolution

Understand application functionality end-to-end and translate business requirements and use cases into effective, meaningful test scenarios

Develop and execute test scripts derived from use cases and requirements, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional specifications

Analyze, communicate, and track defects through to closure, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to maintain quality standards

Maintain and evolve test suites across multiple application releases, keeping automation assets current and relevant

Research and continuously improve automation frameworks, staying ahead of industry trends and adopting best practices

Champion automation best practices across the team, contributing to a culture of quality
