Overview

Your role
- Design and develop traffic signalized intersections.
- Design and develop Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solutions, including Variable Message Signs (VMS), CCTV systems, MIDAS, HAWIS, HADECS, vehicle detection systems, Emergency Roadside Telephones (ERT), and Power & Communication networks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ITS designs into broader transport and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to inform ITS design and implementation.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and drawings for Traffic Signal and ITS projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Traffic/ITS technologies and standards to ensure cutting-edge design solutions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure Traffic Signal and ITS designs comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.




- Demonstrate a strong understanding of British, American, Canadian, and other international design standards and specifications.

About you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and/or Communications Engineering or a related discipline.
- Qualified membership with recognized institutions (e.g., Institute of Engineering and Technology IET or equivalent).
- Minimum 3–10 years’ experience in Electrical/Electronics, Traffic Signals, and/or Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for Highways/Infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on international projects, particularly in the UK, US, Canada, or the Middle East.
- Proficient in design software, particularly AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Navisworks, LinSig, and Amtech/Trimble Pro for electrical calculations.
- Familiarity with modern communication tools and online collaboration platforms.
- Good command of Microsoft Office pack
