Job Description:

Job Objective To ensure timely procurement of materials, components, and services at the most competitive prices, while meeting the required quality and delivery standards to support uninterrupted production and project execution

Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations • Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and capital equipment. • Track order confirmations, delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery. • Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation. Vendor Management • Identify and develop new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors. • Obtain competitive quotations and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service. • Conduct supplier audits and periodic performance reviews. Cost & Inventory Control • Ensure optimal purchase costs through negotiation and cost benchmarking. • Coordinate with stores to manage inventory levels and avoid overstocking or shortages. • Support cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing.

Technical Support




• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to source appropriate
components.
• Liaise with engineering, design, and production teams for custom or technical
materials.
• Raise material deviation notes and manage alternate approvals when necessary.
Compliance & Coordination
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory
regulations.
• Coordinate with Finance and Accounts for invoice processing and payment
follow-up.
• Manage procurement modules in ERP systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills • Education: B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical / Electrical / Production or related field • Experience: 2–5 years in a procurement/purchase role in a manufacturing or engineering setting • Salary: Up to 30K • Skills: o Strong negotiation and communication skills o Knowledge of sourcing, vendor development, and market trends o Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Tally) o A
