We are looking for Design Engineer – Traction Gear Box

This role will work within the Engineering team supporting traction motor and gear box products for railway applications such as locomotive, EMU and metro platforms. The engineer will contribute to design, development,



validation, product introduction and technical support for traction gear box systems, including collaboration with internal teams, local vendors and global engineering stakeholders.

The Design Engineer – Traction Gear Box will work as part of the mechanical engineering team to support the design and development of traction gear box components and assemblies. The role ensures that designs are secure, robust, manufacturable and suitable for railway operating conditions including shock, vibration, thermal loading and long service life. The engineer will also support documentation design, engineering changes, supplier development, prototype build and validation activities.
