To be successful as a Software Test Engineer, you should have experience with:
- Strong experience in end-to-end testing within Cards Issuing, Payments, or Banking domains, with the ability to validate complex business processes across multiple integrated systems.
- Proven expertise in test planning, test design, execution, defect management, and coordination of SIT, E2E, UAT, and production proving activities.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, or similar), with the ability to identify and drive automation opportunities.
- Solid understanding of API, database, and integration testing, including validation of backend processes, data flows,



and third-party interfaces.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to work across business, development, infrastructure, and third-party vendor teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include
- Experience in Cards Issuing platforms such as TSYS, Mastercard, Visa, Rewards, Loyalty, or Customer Servicing systems.
- Knowledge of contemporary test automation practices including AI-assisted testing, self-healing automation scripts, test data automation, and intelligent test reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
- Experience in performance, non-functional, and production validation testing, including monitoring and live proving activities.
