CBSE PRT Computer Teacher
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CBSE Primary School (PRT) Computer Teacher to inspire and engage young learners in exploring the world of technology. The candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering foundational computer education and fostering digital literacy among primary students in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery
- Develop and deliver engaging computer science lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines for primary classes.
- Simplify complex technological concepts to suit the learning levels of young students.
- Use innovative teaching tools and methods, including multimedia presentations, to enhance learning.
- Student Engagement
- Foster curiosity, creativity, and a positive attitude towards learning technology.
- Encourage problem -solving and logical thinking skills through practical activities and projects.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment conducive to growth and exploration.
- Ensure the safety and well -being of students during computer lab sessions.
- Technological Integration
- Integrate technology into other subject areas to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Introduce students to basic coding, graphic design, and internet safety practices.
- Administrative and Team-oriented Duties
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and evaluation reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize technology -based school events or activities.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends in education technology and integrate them into teaching practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
1. Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) with a specialization in Computer Science is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Training in educational software or programming tools (such as Scratch, Python for kids) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 -2 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Freshers with strong technical and pedagogical skills may also apply.
Required Skills and Competencies
1. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in teaching foundational computer topics: MS Office, internet usage, and basic programming.
- Knowledge of coding languages suitable for primary students (e.g.,
Scratch, Blockly).
- Familiarity with interactive teaching tools, learning management systems (LMS), and educational software.
- Pedagogical Skills:
- Ability to simplify and present technical topics in a child -friendly manner.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Expertise in designing age -appropriate assessments and activities.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Problem -solving and creative thinking abilities.
