Purpose
Support the Head –
Institutional Projects & Development in end -to -end procurement and contract
execution for multi -location infrastructure projects across India.
The role includes
sourcing and delivery of civil materials, MEP systems, interiors, and
specialized lab equipment (including Industry 4.0 and advanced training
setups), ensuring timely availability of materials and services as per project
execution needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Execution
- Manage
procurement from requirement stage to final delivery at site
- Execute
procurement plans aligned with project timelines
- Ensure
timely availability of materials and equipment across all project
locations
2. Vendor Management
- Identify,
evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers
- Collect
and compare quotations for selection support
- Ensure
vendor performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery timelines
3. Contracts & Documentation
- Prepare
RFQs, purchase orders, work orders, and contracts
- Define
clear scope, cost, timelines, and delivery terms
- Maintain
complete procurement and vendor documentation records
4. Coordination & Execution
Support
- Work
closely with internal teams (Projects, Civil, MEP, Design, Finance,
Operations)
- Track
deliveries, installations, and site readiness status
- Resolve
execution issues to ensure uninterrupted project progress across sites
- Ensure
alignment between procurement and on -ground execution requirements
5. Lab & Technical
Procurement
- Handle
procurement of lab equipment, Industry 4.0 systems, and training
infrastructure
- Review
technical specifications and ensure suitability for project requirements
- Coordinate
with OEMs/vendors for delivery, installation, and readiness
6. Technical & Cost
Analysis
- Understand
technical specifications of materials and equipment
- Perform
basic technical evaluation for efficiency, suitability, and compliance
with project needs
- Monitor
cost vs budget and highlight deviations
7. Reporting &
Compliance
- Maintain
procurement trackers and MIS reports
- Support
audit and documentation requirements
- Ensure
adherence to procurement processes and internal controls
Requirements
Skills & Knowledge
- Procurement
and vendor management
- Understanding
of civil, MEP, and lab -related technical specifications
- Ability
to perform basic technical analysis (efficiency, suitability, compliance)
- Strong
coordination, follow -up, and execution capability
- Good
proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Exposure
to infrastructure / construction / institutional projects preferred
Education &
Experience
- Diploma/Degree in engineering
(Mechanical/Electrical/related field)
- 5 -10 years of experience in technical procurement.
Language Skills
- English
& Hindi (basic communication)
