What You'll Do:
An Avalara Renewal Sales Analyst manages the end-to-end contract renewal process to maximize retention and revenue, typically based in Pune, India. They collaborate with Customer Account Managers (CAMs), Finance, and Customer Experience teams, proactively initiating renewal activities 120 days before expiration. Key responsibilities include preparing quotes, identifying risks, reducing churn, and updating records.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Proactive Retention: You will be manage contract renewals to minimize churn, initiating engagement at least 120 days before contract expiry.
- Collaboration: You will be partner with Customer Account Managers (CAMs) to identify risks, handle downgrades, and manage cancellations.
- Quote Management: Finalize renewal quotes, validate contract pricing, and secure customer approvals.
- Report and Data: You will monitor renewal trends, communicate upcoming renewal risks, and forecast monthly activity.
- Tools and Skills: You will use CRM tools (like Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy and efficiency in the renewal pipeline.
- Location: Pune
What You'll Need to be Successful:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and lead proactive renewal strategies.
- Communication: Excellent communication for client-facing negotiation and internal stakeholder management.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and fixing potential churn indicators.
- Experience: We prefer previous experience in Sales Operations, Account Management, or renewals.
