The HOD - Purchase will be responsible for managing and overseeing all procurement activities related to raw materials, APIs, excipients, packaging materials, engineering items, and consumables. The role involves vendor management, cost optimization, inventory planning, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of APIs, excipients, and packaging materials.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships and negotiate commercial terms.
- Ensure timely material availability as per production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and control procurement budgets.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory,



and company procurement policies.
- Lead and supervise the purchase team and monitor departmental performance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA in Supply Chain/Procurement preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a formulation company.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
