Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) is Microsoft’s real-time, big-data analytics engine that powers telemetry, log, and time-series analytics for products across Microsoft and for Azure customers worldwide. Within the Azure Data product pillar, the Kusto team is hiring a someone to work on Kaibot — our AI-powered assistant that helps engineers and customers troubleshoot issues, learn Kusto Query Language (KQL), and get self-service answers and diagnostics for the Kusto / Azure Data Explorer platform directly inside Microsoft Teams. What makes this team distinctive is its position at the intersection of large-scale data services and applied AI: you will ground large language models in real Kusto telemetry, product documentation, and support knowledge to deliver trustworthy, actionable help at Microsoft scale.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain features for Kaibot, our AI-powered assistant for the Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) platform, delivered through Microsoft Teams and related surfaces.

Partner with service engineering, support, and product teams to identify high-value engineer and customer scenarios and turn them into reliable self-service experiences.

Improve the quality, reliability, and safety of AI-generated responses through evaluation, monitoring, and continuous feedback loops.
