Account Assistant - Family Office

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update books of accounts for personal and business transactions using Tally Prime
- Record and reconcile bank statements, UPI transactions, and interest credits across multiple accounts
- Track receivables, payables, and recurring expenses
- Assist with GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance filings
- Prepare periodic financial summaries and MIS reports for family members
- Support tax-related documentation and coordinate with CAs/auditors during filing season
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of invoices, statements, and receipts
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for household and family-related entities
- Handle petty cash and reimbursement processing
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for routine account-related tasks

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field




- 1-4 years of relevant experience in accounting (personal/business or family office experience preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of Tally Prime (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles — ledgers, journal entries, reconciliations, P&L;, balance sheets
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliance basics
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred (Good to Have)
- Exposure to mutual fund/investment transaction tracking
- Experience working directly with HNI families or family offices
- Basic understanding of personal tax planning
