Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and innovation of electric heater products.
- Develop new products based on market trends, customer requirements, and business goals.
- Improve existing products to enhance performance, safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct product testing, validation, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, IS standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing teams during product development.
- Oversee prototype development, product trials, and design modifications.
- Manage product documentation, technical specifications, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
- Drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Identify new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes for product innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the R&D; team while managing project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,



Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in R&D;/Product Development, with leadership experience in the electrical appliance or heater manufacturing industry.

Required Skills:
- Product design and development.
- Heating element and electrical appliance knowledge.
- CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar).
- Prototype development and product testing.
- BIS/IS standards and product compliance.
- Value engineering and cost optimization.
- Project management and cross-functional coordination.
- Robust analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in manufacturing electric room heaters, immersion heaters, water heaters, industrial heating equipment, or other electrical appliances.
- Knowledge of safety certifications, product validation, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products.
