Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end research and development of electronic products from concept to commercialization.
- Define the R&D; strategy in line with business objectives and market trends.
- Manage product design, prototyping, testing, validation, and product improvements.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, including hardware, embedded systems, firmware, and mechanical design.
- Oversee PCB design, circuit development, component selection, and product optimization.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (CE, UL, RoHS, EMC, etc.).
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams for seamless product transfer to manufacturing.
- Drive innovation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage R&D; budgets, project timelines, technical documentation, and resource planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, patents, and market opportunities to enhance product competitiveness.
- Mentor and develop the R&D; team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.





Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- M.Tech or MBA (Technology Management) is an added advantage.

Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Electronics R&D; or Product Development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading R&D; teams in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Required Skills:
- Robust expertise in electronic product design and development.
- Experience in PCB design, embedded systems, microcontrollers, analog and digital circuits.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Familiarity with CAD/EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar.
- Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFT (Design for Test), and DFMEA.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IPC s
