About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute innovation and entrepreneurship programmes under IIC.
- Coordinate workshops, hackathons, mentoring sessions, and startup events.
- Support startups in accessing government schemes and funding opportunities.
- Manage reporting and documentation on IIC, YUKTI, ARIIA, and NIRF portals.
- Build and maintain relationships with startups, mentors, investors, industry experts, and government agencies.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM from a recognized institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in incubation management, startup ecosystem development, programme management, or innovation initiatives.
- Experience in a Technology Business Incubator (TBI), startup accelerator, IIC, or similar ecosystem is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem activities.
Preferred Knowledge
- Startup India, DPIIT, DST-NIDHI, BIRAC, SIDBI, MSME schemes,
and state startup initiatives.
- Basics of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- MIC/AICTE IIC Portal, YUKTI Innovation Repository, ARIIA, and NIRF documentation.
- Existing connections with startup founders, mentors, investors, or ecosystem partners will be an added advantage.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
