Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting for Australian clients
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
- Finalize books of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for year-end compliance and tax requirements
- Prepare and review BAS (Business Activity Statements)



and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements)
- Ensure GST compliance and reconciliations
- Assist in payroll processing and superannuation reconciliations
- Prepare management reports, cash flow reports, and financial analysis
- Coordinate with Australian accountants, tax agents, and clients for reporting requirements
- Work extensively on Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other cloud-based accounting software
- Review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
- Mentor junior team members and review their work for accuracy and compliance
