- Key Responsibilities
- Reading Technical Drawings: Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering diagrams to understand the exact specifications for components.
- Assembly and Fitting: Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts using vices, files, saws, and grinders to fit them together precisely.
- Precision Measurement: Checking dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conducting routine machine inspections, lubricating moving parts, and dismantling/repairing broken equipment to minimize downtime.
